This new book about the history of the East Riding ancient village of Bishop Wilton is to consolidate and publish all the articles written about the history of the village by the ‘Bishop Wilton Local History Group’ which was active from 2002 – 2012. Many village people joined the group and attended meetings as well as contributing articles to the 20 bulletins we produced over the period of its lifetime. Unfortunately, some of the contributors have since passed on but their written contributions live on in this book. It comprises 420 pages of text and illustrations.
